Speaker Q&A

Question
How does this apply in juvenile court sentencing proceedings? Same theory as if in adult court?
- tyronef

Yes, complex trauma is the same for children but more immediate. Issues of judgment, cognition, and decision making may be more impaired so that they are not competent.
