Requirements: Maine requires attorneys to complete 12 Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit hours every year. The 12 ME CLE hours must include:

1 hour of ethics (must be live)
1 hour of avoidance of harassment and discrimination (must be live)
No more than 5 of the 12 total credits may be earned through self-study.
