Maine CLE Requirements
Maine's Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Requirement:
Maine requires attorneys to complete 12 Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit hours every year. The 12 ME CLE hours must include at least 1 hour of ethics and 1 hour of avoidance of harassment and discrimination in the legal profession. Specialty credits cannot be earned through on-demand CLE and must be earned during live events, including live webcasts. All 12 credit hours can be earned online through LexVid's on demand and live webcast courses.
Maine CLE Compliance Deadline:
Maine attorneys must complete their CLE requirement by December 31st every year.
Maine CLE Reporting Deadline:
Maine attorneys have until December 31st every year to report their CLE hours earned.
