The link between the high rates of distress, anxiety and depression in the legal profession and uncivil behavior by opposing counsel or uncivil/hostile behavior by partners in the law firm office. This course will cover: the case law--examples of the court issuing sanctions against counsel for uncivil behavior; how to effectively manage natural mental and physical responses to uncivil and hostile behavior; and, how to adopt a mindfulness approach to turning off negative mental chatter.
