Course Description

Length: 48min    Published: 4/21/2021
State courts across the country have significantly altered their operations in response to the coronavirus pandemic. As a result, remote technology might provide good alternate solutions to traditionally in-person discovery and courtroom procedures. While there is already a willingness to adapt traditionally in-person proceedings and processes to a remote setting, it does not come without significant challenges. This program will discuss the shifting litigation procedures that have occurred as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and address the advantages and challenges that come along with these changes.

"Excellent presentation! He was very generous in sharing some important practice tips, including: send a court reporter to defense medical examinations; and, even on Zoom, dress like you're in Court. "
