Oregon CLE Requirements

Oregon's Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Requirement:
Oregon requires attorneys to complete 45 Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit hours every 3 years. The 45 OR CLE hours must include:

  • 5 in Ethics
  • 1 in Child and Elder Abuse Reporting
  • 1 in Substance Abuse & Mental Health
  • 3 in Access to Justice every other reporting period
LexVid does not offer CLE credit in Oregon at this time. However, Oregon attorneys can still sign up for a free account and access our entire library of over 775 hours of online CLE courses for free. If you wish to earn credit, please check with the Oregon State Bar about their CLE self-application policy.

LexVid currently offers CLE credit in 44 states, and we continue to grow! If you also practice law in another state, check to see if LexVid is an accredited provider in that state.

Oregon CLE Compliance Deadline:
Oregon attorneys must complete their CLE requirement by April 30th each year. 

Oregon CLE Reporting Deadline: 
Oregon attorneys have until May 31st to report their CLE hours earned that year.
