Requirements
The Colorado State Bar requires attorneys to complete 45 Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit hours every 3 years. The 45 CO CLE hours must include:
- 7 hours of Professional Responsibility / Ethics
- At least 2 credit hours in the area of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion
- At least 5 credit hours in the areas of Legal Ethics or Legal Professionalism
All 45 Colorado CLE credit hours can be earned online with LexVid.
Reporting
Submit the CLE hours you have earned to Colorado’s Board of CLE using the online affidavit. The course number is listed on your certificate of completion.
Carry Over Credits
Attorneys cannot carry over credits into the next reporting period.
