Practicing fashion law requires a lawyer to interact with a number of areas of law, including licensing, international law, contracts, employment law and, most importantly, intellectual property. This program will provide an overview of how fashion and intellectual property intersect. The speaker will highlight relevant cases in fashion and patent, trademark, and copyright, and discuss the future of fashion and IP, such as digital fashion, NFTs, blockchain, hashtags.
