Excellent presentation. Very informative.

This subject was presented is respectful and comfortable way. The subject itself encourages all of us to inspect our own unconscious bias.. It was very effective.

This is the best course I've ever viewed about implicit bias!

Actually so impressed with this lecture. It can be so difficult to make this lecture enjoyable and interesting because sometimes it feels forced or preachy to talk about this subject matter BUT this professor did such a fantastic job. Actually so informative and interesting to hear all the studies she referenced. Really absolutely loved this lecture and hoping Lexvid will have more videos by this professor in the future.

I think the speaker was effective, knowledgeable and engaging so I don’t think she needed to put so much information into the slides. It was hard to follow at one point. I do think this is an important topic and appreciate her level of expertise.

Excellent course. I never realized that even judges may not be able to control, or even be aware, of their biases and how that might influence their decisions -- even without their realization!
- Joseph D

Excellent program! Very inspiring in these tough times!
- Nicole Z
she gave me a lot to think about. i especially liked the brain scan discussion and also that she tried to remove a feeling of guilt for having unconscious bias.

The presenter was very good, very knowledgeable. Some of the examples she gave made me wince about my own mistakes, but she was persuasive and helpful and not challenging. Made me feel bad for the people who have to put up with stereotyping all the time, though I have been stereotyped a few times myself, so I have some idea about it. I really liked the studies she gave, especially about judges, will look some of them up. Try making some of them hot links. Amazing how difficult it really is to be neutral! Try to enlarge the time slider on the bottom, sometimes I miss things and try to go back but it is too small to be accurate.

Very well done; learned a lot from this instructor; and, went beyond law and learned something about people and myself.

The course presenter Ms. Vida Thomas is excellent. She clearly is knowledgeable in all the topics presented and is able to convey the theory and practice to enable the listener to actually understand and recognize the several areas of bias as well as practical methods to address same.
