Problems involving the law and the psyche often go hand-in-hand. Although law is the realm of the interpersonal and psychology is the realm of the intrapersonal, the two disciplines interact with each other in several impactful ways. For a lawyer to be the best advocate they can be, it is paramount that they consider the psychological motivations underlying their case. This program will explore the many ways law and psychology interact and provide many examples and practice tips for attorneys seeking to improve their advocacy through a deeper understanding of their clients' motivations.
