Requirements
West Virginia requires attorneys to complete 24 Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit hours every 2 years. The 24 WV CLE hours must include:
- At least 3 hours of legal ethics, office management, attorney well-being, or elimination of bias in the legal profession
- Attorneys can earn up to 12 CLE hours via recorded programs
12 West Virginia CLE credit hours can be earned online with LexVid's on demand courses.
Reporting
LexVid will report your West Virginia CLE credits. Your credits will appear on your transcript within 30 days of completion.
Carry Over Credit
Attorneys may carry over up to 6 credits into the next reporting period; however, ethics credits are not eligible for carryover.
