Washington's Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Requirement:
The State Bar of Washington requires attorneys to complete 45 Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit hours every 3 years. The 45 WA CLE hours must include 15 hours of Legal Procedure, and 6 hours of Ethics. No more than 8 credit hours can earned per day.
Washington CLE Deadline:
The CLE deadline for Washington attorneys is December 31st, every 3 years depending on their compliance group. Washington puts attorneys into 1 of 3 compliance groups depending on when they were admitted to the State Bar.

Washington CLE Reporting Deadline:
Washington attorneys have until February 1st to report their CLE compliance to the Washington State Bar.
