South Carolina's Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Requirement:
South Carolina requires attorneys to complete a total of 14 Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit hours each year. Every 2 years, the 14 SC CLE hours must include at least 2 hours of Ethics or Professional Responsibility courses and 1 hour of substance abuse.
