It's no secret that attorneys have high-stress occupations. Consequentially, whereas 10% of adults in the general population are alcoholics, attorneys suffer from alcoholism at a rate of 20%. Alcoholism can have serious social, health, and professional consequences for those in the legal profession. With this program, attorney and author Harvey Hyman will discuss the reasons lawyers have a certain propensity to develop destructive behaviors. He will also cover a number of constructive tools attorneys can use to relieve stress, avoid addiction, and develop a more meaningful life and career.
