Speculative and seemingly more relevant in California than other Jurisdictions. The one slide re Insurance Industry Defenses which took a few minutes of a two-hour presentation was much more compelling than the opinions previously espoused.

Excellent presentation! I loved the explanation of terms and real-life industry actions of some insurance providers. My "what does this mean?" questions were answered as the presentation went forward (without assuming listeners had the same level of expertise as the Presenter himself). Bravo!!

Mr. Thomas is an excellent speaker and very, very knowledgeable. He was easy to follow. I will have to read the materials later, but they look to be very informative and helpful. Excellent presentation.

Not a fan of reporting attorneys to the Bar and insurers to the DOI as a matter of course where an ROR is penned by the insurer.. but was a good basic discussion on CUMIS and other independent counsel issues.

Every lawyer practicing insurance law should listen to this.
