Pennsylvania CLE Requirements
Pennsylvania's Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Requirement:
The State Bar of Pennsylvania requires attorneys to complete 12 Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit hours every year. The 12 PA CLE hours must include 2 hours of legal ethics. Of those 12 credits, at least 6 credits must be live (webcast, or in-person) and up to 6 credits may be completed with on-demand programs (including the 2 required ethics credits). You can complete all 12 hours with LexVid.
Pennsylvania CLE Deadline:
Pennsylvania's State Bar permanently assigns attorneys into 1 of 3 compliance groups, which are chosen randomly by their lawyer ID number. The yearly compliance deadlines for these groups are:
Group 1
Compliance Deadline: April 30th, each Year
Group 2
Compliance Deadline: August 31st, each Year
Group 3
Compliance Deadline: December 31st, each Year
