Missouri CLE Requirements

Requirements
Missouri requires attorneys to complete 15 Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit hours each year, including:
- 3 hours of ethics, including professionalism, substance abuse, mental health, legal or judicial ethics, malpractice prevention, explicit or implicit bias, diversity, inclusion, or cultural competency (must be live courses)
- At least one of the three ethics credit hours must be diversity, inclusion, or cultural competency (must be a live course)
- 6 self study credit hours can be earned with on demand courses
- 9 credits must be taken with live courses
All 15 Missouri CLE hours can be earned online with LexVid's on demand and live courses.
Reporting
File your Annual Report of Compliance with The Missouri Bar by July 31. Each certificate includes the required reporting details and is emailed immediately upon course completion.
Carry Over Credit
Attorneys may carry over excess live credits earned, including Ethics, into the next reporting year.
