Requirements
Kentucky requires attorneys to complete a total of 12 Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit hours each year. The 12 KY CLE hours must include:
- At least 2 hours of Ethics
All 12 Kentucky CLE credit hours can be earned online with LexVid.
Reporting
Kentucky attorneys will self-report their CLE credits using the online portal at the Kentucky Bar website. The deadline to report is August 10th.
Carry Over Credit
Attorneys may carry over up to 24 credits— including up to 4 ethics credits—into the next two reporting periods.
