Kansas CLE Requirements

Requirements

Kansas requires attorneys to complete a total of 12 Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit hours each year. The 12 KS CLE hours must include:

2 hours of Ethics and Professionalism courses

All 12 Kansas CLE credit hours can be earned online with LexVid.

Reporting

The Kansas reporting deadline is July 31st. LexVid will report your Kansas CLE credits for you. Your credits will appear on your transcript within 30 days of completion.

Carry Over Credit

Attorneys may carry over up to 10 credits into the next reporting period; ethics credits are not eligible for carryover.

Deadlines

ComplianceKansas attorneys must complete their CLE requirement by June 30th each year.
