Requirements
The Alabama State Bar requires attorneys to complete 12 Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit hours every year. The 12 AL CLE hours must include:
- 1 hour of ethics/professionalism
- At least 6 hours of live courses
- The remaining hours may be taken with on demand courses
All 12 Alabama CLE credit hours can be earned online with LexVid.
Reporting
LexVid will report your CLE credits to the Alabama State Bar. Credits will appear on your transcript within 30 days of completion.
Carry Over Credit
Attorneys are allowed to carry over up to 12 credits, including 1 Ethics credit, into the next reporting period.
