Georgia CLE Requirements
Georgia's Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Requirement:
Georgia requires attorneys to complete a total of 12 Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit hours each year. The 12 GA CLE hours must include 1 hour of Ethics and 1 hour of Professionalism. For Trial Attorneys, 3 hours of Trial Practice courses must also be included.
*Note: Beginning January 1, 2026, Georgia will move to a biennial CLE reporting requirement (every two years) requiring 18 CLE hours. The first biennial compliance period will run from January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2027.
Our CLE packages will be updated on April 1 to reflect these changes. In the meantime, our current packages will remain available to support attorneys completing requirements ahead of the March 31, 2026 filing deadline.*

Georgia CLE Compliance Deadline:
Georgia attorneys must complete their CLE requirement by December 31st each year.
Georgia CLE Reporting / Filing Deadline:
Georgia attorneys have until January 31st to report their CLE hours earned before the end of the previous year. Note, courses taken online with LexVid will be reported to the Georgia State Bar by LexVid on the attorneys behalf.
