Qualifies for Alaska CLE Credit

Requirements

Alaska requires attorneys to complete a total of 12 Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit hours each year. The 12 Alaska CLE hours must include:

3 ethics credit hours (MECLE)
9 general credit hours (MCLE)

All 12 Alaska CLE credit hours can be earned online with LexVid.

Reporting

Use the form prescribed by the Alaska Bar Association to certify your completion of MCLE by February 1st. Each certificate contains the number of CLE credits you have earned for that course.

Carry Over Credit

Attorneys are allowed to carry over up to 12 credits into the next reporting period. To be carried forward, the credit hours must have been earned but not claimed for credit during the calendar year immediately preceding the current reporting period.

Deadlines

ComplianceAlaska attorneys must complete their CLE requirement by December 31st each year.
