Alaska's Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Requirement:
Alaska requires attorneys to complete a total of 12 Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit hours each year. The 12 Ak CLE hours must include 3 hours of Mandatory Ethics Continuing Legal Education (MECLE), and 9 hours of Voluntary Continuing Legal Education (VCLE).
Alaska CLE Compliance Deadline:
Alaska attorneys must complete their CLE requirement by December 31st each year.
Alaska CLE Reporting / Filing Deadline:
Alaska attorneys have until February 1st to report their CLE hours earned before the end of the previous year.

How do I report my Alaska MCLE compliance?
Use the form prescribed by the Alaska Bar Association to certify your completion of MCLE and VCLE by February 1st. Each certificate contains the number of CLE credits you have earned for that course.
